The Platform uses 7 Project Status to manage items on the Roadmap.

How to Customize Project Status Labels

Overview

The Platform includes seven project status options to help you track projects through their lifecycle. Six of these statuses are predefined, and the seventh status is available for you to customize based on your specific workflow needs.

Default Project Statuses

The Platform comes with the following default project statuses:

  1. Recommended
  2. Qualifided
  3. Approved
  4. Work in Progress
  5. Completed
  6. Rejected
  7. Custom Status - Available for your use

How to Change Project Status Labels

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Click your profile circle in the top-right corner of the Platform
  2. Select "Change Project Status" from the dropdown menu
  3. You'll see a list of your current project statuses
  4. Edit status names: Click on any status name to rename it to match your workflow
  5. Customize icons: You can also change the icon associated with each status
  6. Save your changes: Click the save button to apply your custom labels

The Seventh Status - Your Flexible Option

The seventh project status is specifically designed to be fully customizable. This gives you the flexibility to:

  • Add a status unique to your business process
  • Accommodate special project types or workflows
  • Create custom tracking for internal projects
  • Define any status label that fits your needs

Important Notes

PSA Integration Impact

If you're using PSA integration (HaloPSA, ConnectWise, Autotask):

  • Projects that are synced with your PSA will use the PSA's project statuses instead of the Platform's statuses
  • The Platform's seven statuses only apply to projects that are NOT synced with your PSA
  • Once a project is linked to your PSA, it will display and use the PSA's status names

Where Project Statuses Appear

Your customized project status labels will be displayed in:

  • Project Roadmap module
  • Project Status widget on personas
  • Project filtering options
  • Project donut charts and visualizations
  • Growth funnel widget
  • Any reports that include project status

Example Custom Seventh Status Labels:

  • "Continuous Service"
  • "3rd Party"
  • "Compliance Review"
