Load Assets from your Assesst Management tool to build budgets and projects
-
Navigate to the Asset Tab: Open the platform's Asset Management section and select the option to import assets.
-
Choose Import Method:
- PSA Sync: If your assets are stored in a PSA (Professional Services Automation) tool, you can sync directly from there. The system will read the configuration records from your PSA
- CSV Import: If you're importing assets from a CSV file, use the CSV importer. Upload your CSV file, and the platform will read the column headers.
-
Match CSV Fields (If Importing from CSV): The platform will display the column headers from your CSV file. You will need to map each column to the corresponding asset fields in the platform (e.g., asset name, purchase date, device type).
-
Upload and Validate: After mapping, upload the CSV. The platform will validate the data and flag any potential issues, such as missing dates or duplicate entries.
-
-
Review Imported Assets: Once uploaded, review the assets in the system. Ensure that all assets are loaded correctly, including their depreciation values and associated costs.
-
Manage Duplicates: If you're syncing from both a PSA and CSV files, there may be duplicates. The system attempts to prevent duplicate entries, but it's a good idea to manually check for any.
-
Assets are ready: After importing, the assets will be available within the Platform for further use in Smart Scores, budgeting and roadmaps
