How do I send a Proposal to my client?

Organize and automate your Budgetary proposals. Allow your clients to review and approve/reject budgets before you commit resources to building a quote.

  1. Create the Proposal:

    • Navigate to the Budget or Project Roadmap module for the client.
    • Once the budget or project list is ready, click on the Export button. This will generate a proposal document based on the selected projects and their associated costs.
  2. Review the Proposal:

    • After generating the proposal, you'll be taken to the Proposal Tab, where you can review the contents.
    • Ensure that all necessary projects, assets, and costs are included.
  3. Customize the Proposal:

    • Add any additional details or comments if needed, or edit the project descriptions and deliverables.
    • You can also add or delete Projects from the Proposal.
    • To adjust cost edit the Project from the Project Roadmap module or from within the Report's Project Roadmap widget.
    • Asset costs are fixed based on the Default Replacement Cost defined in the Client Asset Types. (Default cost can be set per client, by filtering the list)
    • If required, you can rename the proposal to something more specific (e.g., "Q4 IT Upgrade Proposal for ClientName").
    • Once you are satisfied with the proposal, click Save.
    • To share the proposal with your client, click the Share button. This will generate a tokenized link that you can send to the client via email or another communication channel.
    • The proposal link allows the client to view the document online.

      Save and Share the Proposal:

  4. Client Review and Approval:

    • The client can review the proposal through the link provided. They will have the option to Approve or Reject the proposal directly from the platform.
    • If the proposal is Approved, you will receive an email notification, and the status of the associated projects will update to reflect this approval.
    • If the proposal is Rejected, you will receive an email notification, and the client can provide feedback on what needs adjustment.
